Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Beat Schenkel, Switzerland, processes personal data in connection with WP Cache Autopilot, including Cache Invalidator and Cache Warmup. It covers data processed through sales, licensing, support, and related product operations.
Data We Collect
We keep data processing limited to what is reasonably necessary to sell, license, support, and improve the product. The plugin is not designed as a consumer SaaS service, and it does not collect visitor traffic data or site content by default simply because it is installed.
- Purchase and billing data handled through Freemius, such as buyer name, email address, order details, country, VAT-related information, subscription status, and invoice records.
- License and activation data, such as license key status, activated domain or site URL, license plan, and activation count.
- Support data you send to us, such as emails, messages, screenshots, logs, and other information included in support requests.
- Diagnostic or technical information if you choose to share or enable it for troubleshooting, such as plugin version, WordPress version, active cache setup, error details, and similar issue-related context.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
SPAM Protection
We use the privacy-preserving Turnstile service to protect our forms from spam robots.
No cookies are set and no personal data is collected or stored by this service.
Here’s what they say:
By collaborating with third parties like device manufacturers, who already have the data that would help us validate a device, we are able to abstract portions of the validation process, and confirm data without actually collecting, touching, or storing that data ourselves. Rather than interrogating a device directly, we ask the device vendor to do it for us.
Private Access Tokens are built directly into Turnstile. While Turnstile has to look at some session data (like headers, user agent, and browser characteristics) to validate users without challenging them, Private Access Tokens allow us to minimize data collection by asking Apple to validate the device for us. In addition, Turnstile never looks for cookies (like a login cookie), or uses cookies to collect or store information of any kind.

Statistics
Instead of Google Analytics we use WP Statistics, a WordPress plugin that is installed on our server, and doesn’t send any data anywhere. It simply put gives us an idea about the website’s visitors.
The key points regarding privacy:
- No cookies collected
- Your IP is anonymized and hashed – no way to (and no interest) in backtracing you
- Nothing shared with 3rd parties.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate website usage to improve the product. No personal data is collected, stored, or shared.
Third Parties
Freemius acts as merchant of record and licensing platform for purchases, renewals, VAT handling, refund processing, and license delivery. Freemius therefore processes relevant customer and transaction data in its own role and also provides license-related data needed for product operations. We may also use service providers reasonably required to host our website, operate email, or manage support communications.
Purpose of Processing
We process personal data to provide the product, validate licenses, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, maintain records, prevent abuse, and meet legal or tax obligations.
Legal Basis
Depending on the context, processing is based on contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the product business, or your consent where you voluntarily provide optional diagnostics or similar information.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Purchase, invoice, tax, and licensing records may be kept for the period required by commercial, accounting, and legal obligations. Support and diagnostic records may be kept while a support matter remains relevant and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain support continuity, prevent repeated issues, and document product history.
Your Rights
- You may request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- You may request deletion or restriction of processing where applicable by law.
- You may object to certain processing based on legitimate interests.
- You may request data portability where applicable.
- If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time for future processing.
- You may lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.
