# Cache Autopilot > Cache Autopilot is a WordPress cache freshness lifecycle plugin. It detects changes, resolves which frontend URLs are affected, purges those cache entries through a supported cache plugin, and preloads affected pages again in the background. Cache Autopilot is not a cache plugin. It works alongside supported WordPress cache plugins that provide URL-level purge support. Cache Autopilot is one installable plugin with two internal engines: * **Cache Invalidator** — the decision layer. Detects changes, resolves affected pages, selects target URLs, and hands them to the active cache adapter for purge. * **Cache Warmup** — the execution layer. Preloads affected URLs after invalidation so visitors are less likely to encounter cold pages. The lifecycle is: **Trigger → Resolution → Targets → Purge → Warmup** Cache Autopilot prefers precise invalidation when affected pages can be resolved safely. When exact targeting is uncertain, explicit fallback behaviour can broaden invalidation rather than silently leaving affected pages stale. **Cache Autopilot Free** is available on WordPress.org. It is not a trial and does not expire. Free includes targeted cache refresh and preload, posts and pages, public custom post types, archive and taxonomy targets, deep Gutenberg and block-theme support, forms, manual targeting, developer filters, and all supported cache adapters. **Cache Autopilot PRO** extends the same lifecycle with Elementor, WooCommerce, ACF relationships, advanced content relationship propagation, multilingual resolution, timed invalidation, and role/user access control. Supported cache plugins are Cache Enabler, Breeze, LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket, and FlyingPress. Gutenberg support includes synced patterns, template parts, Site Editor templates, navigation, global styles, and nested structural resolution. Elementor support is PRO and includes modern Elementor Components, legacy Global Widgets, Theme Builder templates, archive and single templates, popups, conditional templates, and nested usage. WooCommerce support is PRO and includes products, variations, grouped products, the shop page, product category and tag archives, upsells, cross-sells, and related storefront targets. ACF support is PRO and includes Relationship and Post Object fields, nested ACF structures, multi-level relationship chains, and asynchronous deep traversal where required. Multilingual resolution is PRO and supports WPML, Polylang, and TranslatePress. Form support includes Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, and Ninja Forms. Additional builder support includes storage-aware scanning for Divi, Beaver Builder, and WPBakery. These builders do not receive the deep structural resolution provided for Gutenberg and Elementor.
